Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a remote Business Analyst (Federal Grants & eRA Systems) to support EPA initiatives. You will master user roles, analyze grant lifecycle processes, and drive optimization across Pre-Award to Closeout while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient workflows.

Ideal candidates have extensive BA experience in federal environments, knowledge of eRA/GrantSolutions, and proficiency with JIRA/Confluence/Azure DevOps. A Public Trust clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive BA experience or commensurate background.
• Direct experience supporting eRA/GrantSolutions implementations or migrations.
• Thorough understanding of federal grant policies and post-award processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid-remote environment.
• Strong analytical skills to decompose complex processes into requirements.

Responsibilities

• Master user roles and use cases for the grant system and training docs.
• Serve as Analyst during development, deployment, or migration of enterprise systems.
• Analyze as-is and to-be business processes across grant lifecycle stages.
• Identify bottlenecks and compliance gaps; propose automation opportunities.
• Support gap/trade-off analyses to move to standardized to-be state.
• Understand client data challenges and communicate with project team and client.
• Coordinate testing with the implementation team and support UAT/DR tasks.
• Assist meetings with Customer and Business POCs.
