Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a remote Business Analyst for the EPA grants ecosystem. You will master user roles and use cases for the Next Generation Grant System, and support deployment, migration, and enhancements of enterprise grant modules with focus on compliance and process optimization.

You will document current and future state processes, collaborate with customers and teams, and help translate complex federal requirements into actionable specifications in a hybrid-remote environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in business analysis or equivalent.
Direct experience supporting implementations or migrations of federal grant systems.
Thorough understanding of federal grant policies, FOAs/NOFOs, and post-award monitoring.
Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Master all aspects of User Roles and Use Cases for EPA Next Generation Grant System.
Serve as Analyst/Senior Analyst during development, deployment, or migration of grant systems.
Analyze and document as-is and to-be processes across grant lifecycle phases.
Identify bottlenecks, compliance gaps, and automation opportunities.
Support gap and trade-off analyses to migrate to standardized To-Be state.
Coordinate testing activities and support UAT/DR exercises.
