Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support Agile or SAFe environments, refining backlogs, creating user stories, and planning iterations. You will coordinate with Scrum Master and Product Owners to align business objectives with technical delivery. This role is remote but requires living within driving distance of Scott Air Force Base; U.S.

citizenship and Secret clearance are required. Travel up to 10% locally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum five (5+) years’ experience as a business analyst on iterative software development projects.
Experience with SAFe or Agile methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Understand real-world objectives and grasp software development practices and technologies.
Capture, analyze, and manage functional and non-functional requirements and user stories.
Decompose features into stories for iterative development cycles.
Partner with ScrumMaster to establish Sprint backlogs, resolve impediments, and define scope.
Lead and facilitate backlog refinement and ensure items are ready for implementation.
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlog and align with objectives and roadmap goals.
Define and maintain iteration backlog content, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.
Verify understanding with Product Owners/ SMEs and translate into user stories and criteria.
Define and validate acceptance criteria to enable TDD and testable work.
Support future backlog refinement and readiness for iterations.
Lead demonstrations to stakeholders and report iteration results.
