Job summary

CSCI Consulting, Inc. seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support iterative software development within Agile/SAFe environments. You will refine backlogs, develop user stories, and facilitate collaboration among Product Owners, SMEs, stakeholders, and development teams.

The role requires translating business needs into clear acceptance criteria, validating requirements, and ensuring backlog readiness for each iteration. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Capturing, analyzing, documenting and managing functional requirements and user stories.
Translating business needs into clear acceptance criteria.
Experience with Agile or SAFe methodologies.

Responsibilities

Develop a strong understanding of mission and business objectives.
Lead backlog-refinement sessions and ensure items are ready for iteration.
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlog and align with roadmap goals.
Partner with Scrum Master to establish sprint backlogs and define scope for each iteration.
Validate requirements with stakeholders and ensure alignment on scope and outcomes.
Prepare upcoming work items for future iterations by elaborating requirements and backlog readiness.
Lead software demonstrations for stakeholders and communicate iteration results.
Identify, investigate, and resolve problems independently.
