Job summary

CACI is seeking a Business Analyst to support agile software development across cross-functional teams. The role requires a U.S. citizen with a DoD Secret clearance, and a strong background in SAFe or Agile practices.

You will drive requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria while coordinating with Product Owners and SMEs to ensure alignment with business objectives. The position is remote but you must live within driving distance of Scott Air Force Base and be able to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with DoD Secret clearance.
Background check criteria including felony, illegal drug use and misconduct checks as part of eligibility.
College degree or equivalent professional experience in a related discipline.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5+ years as a business analyst on iterative software projects.
Familiarity with SAFe or Agile methods.
Proficiency with MS Office tools and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Capture, analyze, and manage functional and non-functional requirements and user stories.
Lead backlog refinement to ensure items are defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
Define sprint backlogs with the ScrumMaster and guide scope of work.
Prioritize backlog with Product Owners to align with business objectives and roadmap.
Document stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and traceability.
Collaborate with Product Owners and SMEs to ensure understanding of requirements.
Define and validate acceptance criteria to enable Test Driven Development.
Support future backlog refinement and readiness for iterations.
Lead demonstrations to stakeholders and report iteration results.
