Zusammenfassung

Keystone Building Consultants seeks experienced professionals to join as Building Consultants in a fully remote, part-time, 1099 role. You will evaluate property damage, prepare estimates and reports, and provide expert insights to insurers, attorneys, and stakeholders.

Hands-on construction background and ability to travel for field inspections are essential. You will work with engineers and claim adjusters, produce objective evaluations, and may act as an expert witness when required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in general contracting, construction, home remodeling, mitigation, or related fields.
• Contractor's license may be required in your state.
• Hands-on experience with insurance-related repairs or claims estimating.
• Proficiency with estimating methods using time & materials or software.
• Familiarity with industry software (Symbility, Matterport, DocuSketch, Hover).
• IICRC certification and/or mitigation contracting experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Receive assignments and schedule inspections promptly.
• Perform onsite property inspections, often with engineers, within 7 days.
• Access rooftops and crawl spaces to conduct full evaluations.
• Prepare detailed reports and cost estimates (Xactimate or similar) within 7 days.
• Collaborate with senior consultants during review and approval processes.
