Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Remote Support Specialist to inspect, troubleshoot and program Building Automation Systems via cloud-based remote access. You will communicate findings to customers and work with Digital Services to optimize energy conservation methods.

The role collaborates with Field Technicians and internal teams, delivering timely reports and solutions while maintaining strong written communication and teamwork in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical school or formal training is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and handheld devices; basic IT/Networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Remote inspection, troubleshooting, and programming of Customer Building Automation Systems.
• Create reports and communicate system status to customers.
• Support emergency calls and triage controls issues.
• Assist Field Technicians with controls questions on site.
• Identify and implement ECMs for BAS optimization.
