Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Digital Services Remote Support Specialist to inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, and program Customer Building Automation Systems using Trane’s cloud-based remote connection. You will communicate findings to customers and collaborate with the Digital Services team to identify Energy Conservation Methods (ECMs) and optimization opportunities for customer sites.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld devices (smartphone, iPad).
• Experience with DDC controls systems; network/IT knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remote inspection, troubleshooting and programming of Customer Building Automation Systems.
• Communicating with Customers on the state of their systems and creating reports.
• Customer support for Emergency calls and triage of controls calls.
• Field Technician controls support.
• ECM identification and optimization for Customer BAS.
