Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Budget Analyst to support start-up budgeting for site activities in clinical trials. You will build budgets, analyze trial protocols, and identify CPT/HCPCS codes using internal tools.

The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and effective communication with sponsors and CROs. This is a remote US-based position with occasional travel and a focus on timely, accurate budgeting to enable trial initiation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a performance-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Experience reading clinical trial protocols.
• Familiarity with Medicare/NCD or healthcare billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of clinical trial budget builds, and/or budget negotiations.
• Read and analyze clinical trial protocols and develop activity grid to identify required tests, procedures, and assessments.
• Use software and other internal resources to identify CPT/HCPCS codes for items in the activity grid.
• Build comprehensive clinical trial budgets based on client’s pricing methodologies and internal standards.
• Negotiate clinical trial budgets with sponsors/CROs via email and phone.
• Review work completed by others as part of the internal quality review process.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
