Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Budget Analyst to support start-up workflows for site budgets within clinical trials. You’ll build budgets, identify required tests, and negotiate terms with sponsors and CROs to ensure accurate financial planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. You will contribute to timely start-up processes and maintain high-quality budgeting practices across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; substantial field experience may substitute.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read protocols, identify tests, and build budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical trial budget builds and participate in budget negotiations.
• Read protocols and create activity grids to identify required tests and procedures.
• Identify CPT/HCPCS codes using internal resources.
• Create budgets per client pricing methodologies and internal standards.
• Negotiate budgets with sponsors/CROs via email and phone.
• Review others’ work as part of quality control.
• Attend and be punctual in all duties.
