Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Coverage Analyst to support the start-up process for site clients by performing coverage analysis and identifying required tests and procedures.

You will read trials, interpret policies, and determine billing implications for clinical studies. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand complex clinical terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• Ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product information.
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Familiarity with clinical trial start-up processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of clinical trial coverage analysis.
• Read and analyze clinical trial protocols and develop activity grid to identify required tests, procedures, and assessments.
• Interpret Medicare policies, clinical practice guidelines, and other related documents to make billing determinations related to clinical trials.
• Use software and other internal resources to identify potential CPT/HCPCS codes for applicable items in the activity grid.
• Review work completed by others as part of the internal quality review process.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
