• 3+ years electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor.
• 5+ years sales experience in related industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to travel 25-30%.

Responsibilities

• Calls on clients, management, and representatives to demonstrate desirability of technical products.
• Provides technical services to clients related to specified products.
• Gathers, analyzes, and shares technical information with internal and external customers.
• Pre/post sales support for sales teams.
• Leads joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Assists account representatives in finding new sales opportunities.
• Participates in ongoing training to maintain technical competency.
• Understands market conditions, competitive forces, and growth areas.
• Promotes products in competitive situations and coordinates launches.
• Maintains relationships with vendor product managers and selling resources.
