Lift Business Resources is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our remote team, handling nonprofit and corporate clients with proficiency in QuickBooks Online. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and professional client support.

You will manage ledgers, reconciliations, monthly statements, budgeting support, and collaborate with accounting professionals, all while working independently across multiple client accounts. Part-time schedule with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Professional bookkeeping experience in nonprofit and corporate environments.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong nonprofit accounting knowledge including fund tracking.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for nonprofit and corporate clients.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, payables and receivables.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting, month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with clients and coordinate with accounting professionals as needed.
