Job summary

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing health media company for a hands-on bookkeeper who will own AR, AP, and daily reporting in a fully remote setup. You’ll partner with leadership from day one and advance to core bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, including month-end support.

You should have 3+ years in AR/AP or bookkeeping, be adept at cash tracking and reconciliations, and ensure accuracy across Stripe, PayPal, and ActiveCampaign. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on AR, AP, or bookkeeping experience.
• Bank reconciliations and journal entries experience.
• Professional-level written and verbal English.
• Comfortable owning AR and AP processes independently in a remote environment.
• Available Monday to Friday, roughly 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
• This will be your only paid work: full-time and exclusive, with no other job or ongoing freelance clients.
• Spanish fluency, written and spoken.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close.
• Experience with Stripe, PayPal, or ActiveCampaign.
• Track record of improving or automating financial processes, especially with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Issue client invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and record payments received.
• Track AI product payments and help calculate sales commissions for leadership's review.
• Enter vendor, contractor, and affiliate invoices and assign the correct general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Review expense reports and reimbursements, and handle Stripe payment disputes.
• Keep the daily cash position, scorecard, and event expense tracking current.
• Maintain accurate records in ActiveCampaign, the company's CRM platform.
• Once ramped up, record transactions in QuickBooks Online, reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, PayPal, and Stripe, and support month-end close.
