Job summary

Torentify is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to support ongoing financial operations for a growing privately held company. This standalone accounting role is responsible for managing full-cycle bookkeeping activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting timely financial reporting.

The selected candidate will work directly with the company owner and help manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a standalone bookkeeping or accounting position.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and reliability.
• Experience with Workamajig or similar project-based accounting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping activities including AP/AR and GL maintenance.
• Maintain accurate financial data and records within Workamajig.
• Prepare routine financial reports and support reporting requirements.
• Assist with budgeting processes and financial planning.
• Maintain organized and compliant financial documentation.
• Collaborate with the owner by providing financial insights and reporting support.
• Support a smooth transition of bookkeeping during retirement transition.
