Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a dependable Bookkeeper for a mostly remote role, supporting a growing privately held company with ~30 employees and steady financial operations. The position covers full-cycle bookkeeping using Workamajig and reports directly to the owner, with standard hours 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work independently in a remote environment, and possess experience with project-based accounting software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a standalone bookkeeping or accounting role.
• Experience with Workamajig or similar project-based accounting software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Manage financial data within Workamajig and ensure system accuracy.
• Prepare routine financial reports and support budgeting processes.
• Maintain organized and compliant financial records.
• Collaborate directly with the owner on financial insights and reporting.
