Star Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to manage daily financial operations for a healthcare organization. You will handle bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting, with the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

The role is full-time and remote, with occasional needs to come into the office. Compensation ranges from $38 to $45 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel or comparable software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payroll and assist with payroll tax reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Organize documentation for tax preparation, audits, and reviews.
• Track healthcare-related expenses and coordinate with stakeholders.
