Job summary

Landmark Builders, a residential construction company, seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to manage accounting and administrative processes for remodeling and new construction projects.

The role supports financial accuracy and operational efficiency, coordinating with a CPA for tax filings and monthly reporting while handling job costing, payroll, and fleet records. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Buildertrend, and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online experience.
• Experience with job costing.
• Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel.
• Construction software experience (Buildertrend) or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all bookkeeping in QuickBooks
• Process accounts payable (vendor bills) and accounts receivables (client invoicing)
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts
• Coordinate with CPA for tax filings and monthly reporting
• Allocate labor, materials, subcontractor, and overhead correctly
• Prepare weekly AR / AP reports to leadership team
• Engage with HR to process job costing payroll
• Maintain company fleet records
• Maintain general business records (License, insurance, etc.)
• Monitor cash position and support forecasting
