Job summary

Remotely in the United States is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper for a fully remote, full-time role. You will manage daily financial records, ensure transaction accuracy, and support client accounting operations using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, or similar software.

You will handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconcile accounts, prepare reports, assist with month- and year-end closing, and coordinate with external accountants for audits and tax filing.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, or similar software.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to different client workflows and environments.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
