Qualifications

• Active adjuster license in resident state or DHS license; willing to obtain additional licenses within 60 days.
• Bachelor's degree required; otherwise strong qualifications accepted.
• 3+ years in transportation claims adjusting, including bodily injury and property damage.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service for claims via calls and correspondence.
• Manage an inventory of litigated and non-litigation auto claims.
• Analyze claims to identify disputes, gather documentation, and negotiate settlements.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policy provisions and SOPs.
• Collaborate with defense, counsel and vendors; participate in mediations/arbitrations as needed.
• Review documents, support discovery, and manage claim files from inception to closure.
• Maintain licenses and continuing education requirements.
