Job summary

Relay is seeking a proactive Business Development Associate to expand partnerships across North America in a remote-first environment. You will own the relationship lifecycle from first pitch to signed contracts and implementation, coordinating with product, marketing, data, and leadership to accelerate go-to-market efforts.

You will manage outreach to leads, handle negotiations, and nurture VIP accounts with a focus on speed, clarity, and reliability in the crypto space.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in business or corporate development, growth, or ecosystem roles.
• Proven track record in managing commercial relationships and negotiations.
• Experience in the tech industry, ideally with blockchain exposure.
• Strong proficiency using AI tools for research, writing, organization, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Own outreach to new leads and refine the partner pitch.
• Identify and lead partnership conversations, including technical topics.
• Manage early proposal stages through to commercial contracts and signing.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, data, and leadership to move partners to implementation.
• Support responsiveness and relationship management for VIP partners.
