Avantor seeks a Biopharma Production Systems Specialist (BPSS) to support customers across the greater Boston/New England region and Canada.

The role focuses on technical sales support, business development, and consultation for Biopharma Production hardware platforms and consumables. Travel is ~50%, with opportunities for international trips, and collaboration with the regional Biopharma Production team is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology/chemistry/engineering or life sciences.
• Minimum 5 years in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or supplying technical products.
• Minimum 1 year in a sales role and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to five days per week; average travel ~50% with some international trips.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute territory/account strategies to grow hardware platform sales.
• Manage pipeline using CRM and BI tools; gather customer requirements and propose solutions.
• Develop opportunities with post-sale relationship management and value demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing on commercial strategies.
• Support sales training and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
