Job summary

GenScript is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive and support sales across a Mid-Atlantic territory, with a focus on GenScript biotech products and services. The ideal candidate resides in Philadelphia, PA, and will leverage scientific knowledge to develop profitable initiatives and customer relationships.

The role combines field visits, strategic collaboration with TAM, FAS and Marketing, and regular forecasting to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or above in life sciences or Bachelor’s with lab experience.
1–5 years of relevant sales experience.
Knowledge of Biological, CRO or CDMO markets; familiarity with Gene Synthesis, Protein, Peptide, Bioassays, Antibody and Cell Line products/services preferred.

Responsibilities

Grow and develop the assigned territory in collaboration with Global Commercial Head.
Collaborate with TAM, FAS and Marketing to meet sales objectives and build GenScript brand.
Conduct 30% quote/lead follow-up and 70% field visits with customers to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly goals.
Forecast sales within territory on a weekly basis and adjust strategies accordingly.
Identify and develop new market opportunities in Industrial/Academic/Governmental sectors.
