Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, headquartered in Conyers, GA, seeks an experienced VDC Specialist to translate design intent into fabrication and installation BIMs for mechanical and plumbing systems. You will work with engineers, GCs, and subcontractors to ensure accurate, coordinated drawings and models.

Responsibilities include producing LOD400 BIM, preparing shop drawings, and mentoring junior staff. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, CADMEP, and Navisworks is required; MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM modelling experience for mechanical or plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, CADMEP and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of other BIM software is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word/PP).

Responsibilities

• Produce LOD400 BIM for mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate spatial layouts with GC and subcontractors.
• Attend weekly coordination meetings on-site or virtually.
• Create detailed shop, hanger and sleeve drawings.
• Generate and manage RFIs to design team.
• Mentor junior VDC specialists and provide on-the-job training.
