Qualifications

• Three plus years’ experience in healthcare billing and familiarity with coding, payer rules and collections.
• Previous management experience required with staff supervision.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and a problem solver.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the payments team within Billing Services to ensure optimal results.
• Coordinate ERA posting and posting workflows and monitor payer reimbursements.
• Provide reimbursement reporting to management and escalate payer issues as needed.
• Maintain staffing schedules and ensure compliance, policies and trainings.
• Collaborate with other departments and vendors to optimize the billing cycle.
