Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in billing, transactions, or accounts receivable in a corporate setting.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred in business-related field.
• Experience with billing software and ERP systems (Dynamics or similar).
• Strong data entry and data validation with high attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze account data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration with internal teams and customers.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple accounts and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve new customer accounts before activation with complete documentation.
• Update and maintain customer account information, including adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Generate, review, and process invoices with accurate charges, pricing, taxes, and payment terms.
• Scrutinize billing data for completeness and resolve discrepancies to minimize disputes.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance to resolve billing issues.
• Respond promptly to customer billing inquiries and resolve disputes to maintain relationships.
• Maintain organized accounts receivable files for audits and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and regulatory requirements in billing.
• Participate in billing process improvement projects and system upgrades.
