The position is primarily telecommuted with occasional in-office needs. You will handle eligibility checks, claim status, and data entry while maintaining strict privacy standards and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient with computer and Windows PC applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, video conferencing).
• Strong keyboard and navigation skills; ability to learn new programs.
• Dedicated work area with privacy to handle sensitive information.
• Reliable high-speed Internet access at home or work location.
• 1+ year experience in A/R, Billing, and Customer Service, Insurance, or Healthcare.
• Some college coursework completed.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and applies denials to third party carriers across media.
• Follows departmental Business Rules and SOPs.
• Focuses on decreasing Accounts Receivable and increasing cash.
• Interprets explanation of benefits for follow-up actions.
• Uses automation tools to verify eligibility and claim status.
• Creates worklists and analyzes data for trend detection and adjudication.
• Researches denied claims across multiple systems to capture data for processing.
• Communicates with members or providers to evaluate claim issues clearly.
• Performs data entry and re-work for adjudication of claims.
• Contributes to other projects as needed.
• Meets performance goals for efficiency, accuracy, quality, satisfaction, and attendance.
• Works full-time (40 hours) Monday–Friday; may require overtime/weekends/holidays.
