Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Windows PC apps such as Outlook and Excel; comfortable with Teams and video conferencing.
• Must have a dedicated private work area and keep sensitive documents secure.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and applies denials to third-party carriers across media types.
• Complies with Business Rules and SOPs.
• Focuses on decreasing A/R, increasing cash, reducing bad debt.
• Interprets explanations of benefits for follow-up actions.
• Uses automation to verify eligibility and claim status.
• Creates worklists in Access and analyzes data for trends and adjudication.
• Reviews denied claims across systems to capture data for processing.
• Communicates with members/providers to resolve claim issues clearly.
• Performs data entry and re-work for adjudication of claims.
• Works on other projects as needed and meets performance goals.
• Hour requirement: 40 hours/week; overtime and/or weekends possible.
