Job summary

EFI Global, a full-service engineering and investigative firm, is seeking a US telecommuter for a full-time Billing Specialist role. You will create invoices, allocate revenue by client and location, and maintain recurring journal entries to defer revenue, while generating variance reports and ensuring accurate client billing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred) and 2 years of billing experience.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing are described: high school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience: two years billing or related experience or equivalent combination.
• Skills: general accounting, excellent communication, PC literacy, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates accurate installment and per claim invoices for assigned clients; properly allocates revenue to appropriate clients and company locations.
• Generates and maintains department systems.
• Maintains a system of Recurring Journal Entries to defer annual, semi-annual, and quarterly revenue.
• Keys journal entries for accounting staff.
• Maintains client billing files with current billing instructions and contracts.
• Creates monthly revenue versus budget variance reports.
