Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Revenue and Finance Automation specialist to lead billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition initiatives within the order‑to‑cash process. You will collaborate with sales, pre‑sales, and product teams to design scalable Stripe solutions for large customers and ensure GAAP/IFRS‑compliant revenue practices.

You will develop deep domain expertise, create reusable assets, and influence roadmap while guiding customers through complex billing scenarios and ERP integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical sales, pre‑sales, or solutions architecture focusing on billing/subscription/revenue management
• 3+ years in the order‑to‑cash process in SaaS, incl. subscription lifecycle, dunning, revenue recognition
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606/IFRS 15 and SaaS usage‑based models
• Experience with billing/ERP software (NetSuite/Workday/SAP/Zuora or similar)
• Comfort explaining complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Stripe Billing, Invoicing, and Revenue Recognition to accelerate opportunities
• Map order‑to‑cash processes to Stripe platform and advise on architecture
• Discover customer billing architectures and design Stripe solutions accordingly
• Advise on complex scenarios: multi‑currency revenue recognition, entitlements, ERP integration
• Create reusable assets and mentor others within sales/pre‑sales
• Partner with Billing product sales to drive opportunities and relationships
• Voice of the Customer to influence product roadmap
• Identify trends and provide insights to product and sales teams
• Escalate complex issues to Stripe engineering and ensure resolution
• Contribute to quarterly sales forecasts and address deal blockers
• Support marketing events and executive briefings
