Job summary

Stripe is recruiting a Solutions Architect for the Solutions Architecture team in South San Francisco to ensure successful customer implementations and rapid value realization.

You will guide complex integrations and usage-based pricing initiatives, collaborating across Sales, Product, and R&D, with travel as needed. This role demands strong technical storytelling and a track record of delivering for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical or customer-facing SaaS roles.
• Deep knowledge of quote-to-cash and related tools (Salesforce, NetSuite, CPQs, Billing, Tax, Payments).
• Experience leading complex multi-phase technology transformations for enterprise companies.
• Experience in fast-moving startup environments with high agency.
• Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Excitement for building GTM playbooks and reusable assets.
• Ability to travel ~30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Discovery and scoping to understand client billing challenges and related areas.
• Support clients through implementation lifecycle: requirements, design, integration, testing, data migration, launch.
• Provide expert guidance on usage-based pricing and consumption models.
• Hands-on configuration of Metronome’s system for clients.
• Design integrations between Metronome APIs and client systems (CRM/CPQ, Payments, Tax, ERP, Billing, Analytics).
• Act as liaison between field and R&D to advocate for client needs and feature requests.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Build relationships with client personnel from operators to executives.
• Design integrations into prospect systems and influence pricing/packaging.
• Ensure proper handoff to Customer Success and Technical Support.
