Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Billing Operations Associate to own end-to-end billing across our retail partner portfolio in a remote role across the United States (excluding CA, CT, NJ, NY, WA).

The role requires 2+ years in billing or AR, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Oracle or similar ERP, and ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Sales. You will ensure accurate invoicing, month-end close, and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B tech, marketplace, or SaaS environment.
• Foundational understanding of invoicing processes, ERP workflows, and AR fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume workloads accurately.
• Expert proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel).
• Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Clear and professional communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to follow defined processes and controls while knowing when to escape.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and delivers on commitments.

Responsibilities

• Monthly billing cycles are executed accurately and on time, with invoices calculated, generated, and delivered via email and third-party portals such as Ariba.
• Credit memos, debit memos, and refunds are processed in accordance with approved requests.
• Oracle workbooks are built and maintained for new and amended contracts.
• Commercial contracts are reviewed to identify billing requirements, with billing language validated with senior team members as needed.
• Peer reviews of invoice calculations are completed to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
• Billing inquiries are responded to promptly, with complex disputes escalated appropriately.
• Audit requests are supported and ad hoc projects are completed accurately and on time.
• Established SOPs and internal controls are followed to ensure consistent and compliant billing operations.
