Job summary

Scale to Win is a fully-remote progressive political tech company focused on texting and dialing tools for campaigns. The Manager of Billing Operations will oversee daily billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections, working cross-functionally with CX, Sales, and Accounting to optimize cash flow and ensure timely payments.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach to resolve payment issues, regulatory compliance across states, and process improvements to streamline billing workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, or corporate collections.
• Strong communication skills with a proven comfort level performing direct customer outreach (phone and email) for collections.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams (Sales, Customer Success, Accounting) to resolve complex billing challenges.
• A systems-thinking mindset with a desire to streamline workflows and fix repetitive operational errors.
• Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP) related to A/R and bad debt is a plus

Responsibilities

• Billing & Invoicing Execution — Monitor end-to-end billing workflows for recurring and usage-based products, and generate invoices as needed.
• Accounts Receivable & Collections — Oversee aging reports, cash application, and proactive collections to recover overdue funds.
• Cross-Functional Coordination & CX Support — Collaborate with Sales and CX to coordinate collections efforts and resolve customer issues.
• Regulatory Compliance — Monitor multi-state registrations, filings, nexus, and tax obligations with CorpNet for timely updates.
• Accounting Coordination — Assist month-end close with revenue adjustments and reserves.
• Process Improvement — Identify gaps in billing workflows and implement root-cause solutions
