KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Manager of Billing Operations for a global tech company in Somerville, MA. This contract role leads end-to-end billing, AR, and process optimization across 1,500+ customers and 100–150 invoices per week.

You will manage a team of 3, drive SOX-compliant controls, and partner with Sales and Accounting to improve invoicing accuracy and cycle times in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in billing/finance operations, SaaS/tech preferred.
• 1+ year of management experience.
• Strong order-to-cash, AR and collections background.
• Experience with complex contracts and billing structures.
• SOX/compliance knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global billing operations (100–150 invoices/week across 1,500+ customers).
• Own invoicing lifecycle/processes.
• Manage AR, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability.
• Ensure SOX compliance, audit readiness, and controls.
• Manage and mentor a team of 3.
