Job summary

Intuit is seeking a bilingual Credentialed Tax Professional to join our remote TurboTax support team. You will help customers complete their taxes with expert guidance and full service preparation, leveraging your active credential and deep tax knowledge.

You will interact with customers via video and audio tools, deliver accurate tax calculations, and document interactions while meeting KPI goals in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• 2+ years of recent federal and state 1040 prep for at least 30 clients per season using tax software.
• Must possess or obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN required.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and software.
• Strong customer service with video/audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a dedicated hardwired internet connection meeting security criteria.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; interact with customers via video communications software.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and product/software inquiries.
• Create high-quality customer interactions using empathy and deep tax expertise.
• Leverage government sites and resources to deliver accurate answers in plain language.
• Apply company procedures to troubleshoot and resolve tax questions.
• Document customer interactions and fulfill KPI goals.
• Participate in pilots, projects and experience validations as needed.
