The role emphasizes strong communication, fast problem-solving, and adherence to security standards while supporting customers nationwide from a home office. A valid CPA/EA/attorney credential and PTIN are required.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted credential: CPA/EA or Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience.
• 2+ years of federal and state 1040 returns for at least 30 clients per season.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN and working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role using video tools to interact with customers.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature for TurboTax customers.
• Answer product/software inquiries and perform tax calculations.
• Create high quality customer interactions with empathy and expertise in tax preparation.
• Document customer interactions and work toward KPI metrics.
