Job summary

EvenUp is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate to drive case progress from intake to resolution with precision and compassion. This remote role supports high-volume personal injury cases, initiating claims, managing medical records, and coordinating care for clients to ensure well-documented files for attorneys.

You will oversee demand preparation, resolve liens, and guide cases through early stages, collaborating with paralegals to maintain accuracy and urgency in every filing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in personal injury legal operations, case management, or insurance claims.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated.
• Proven ability to execute processes in high-volume environments.
• Strong communication with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and insurers.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Open insurance claims and liaise with adjusters and carriers.
• Track and organize medical records, bills, and police reports.
• Monitor treatment progression and outcomes.
• Resolve lien and subrogation issues proactively.
• Prepare complete case files for demand with lead paralegals.
• Communicate with clients daily through pre-litigation process.
• Maintain case timelines and milestones with precision.
• Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
• Uphold high standards of documentation and file integrity.
