Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a bilingual physician to join our Virtual Health Assessment Team. You will deliver quality care to patients on Oscar's platforms via phone and video and supervise Advanced Practice Providers.

You will report to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment. This fully remote, full-time role requires board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, MD or DO, Spanish fluency, and 3+ years in outpatient practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in IM or FM.
• Fluent in Spanish with proctored assessment.
• 3+ years in outpatient family or internal medicine practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state-by-state regulations.
• Provide medical care virtually (phone, video, and message) following Oscar Medical Group guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, RNs, and other providers across service lines.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Willingness to be licensed in additional states with assistance from our licensing vendor.
