Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Bilingual Physician for our Virtual Health Assessment Team. This remote, full-time role involves supervising APPs, delivering care via phone/video, and ensuring state-regulated compliance.

You’ll report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment and work from home across supported states. Required: MD/DO, board certification in Internal or Family Medicine, 3+ years outpatient experience, and Spanish fluency verified by assessment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish required (assessed proctored).
• 3+ years in outpatient family or internal medicine.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state regulations.
• Provide medical care virtually (phone, video, and messages) following Oscar Medical Group guidelines.
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states with our vendor support.
