Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a customer care specialist for its country-wide remote team. You will handle patient questions, resolve issues, and maintain documentation with HIPAA compliance. The role emphasizes one-call resolution and patient retention across multiple divisions, with a standard bilingual English/Spanish requirement.

The position offers an hourly pay range and requires strong customer service and data-entry skills, with rotation as needed to cover business demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in both English and Spanish.
• Customer service experience in a call center environment desirable.
• Basic knowledge of, or ability to learn customer service specialization.

Responsibilities

• Handles client/patient questions, complaints, requests or inquiries with courtesy and professionalism, aiming for one-call resolution and patient retention.
• Maintains knowledge of all company products & services to work in one or more divisions.
• Logs into systems as appropriate to skill set and/task assigned.
• Completes C/S documentation within 24 hours of service delivery, per guidelines.
• Provides patients with accurate, timely solutions to complaints/concerns about orders, devices, usage, and prescriptions.
• Ensures accurate changes and data entry of patient records in information systems.
