• Knowledge of federal, state/provincial and local laws pertaining to Consumer Collections and related areas.
• Familiarity with BMO products and services.
• Understanding of market trends in product offerings for collections.
• Ability to apply risk frameworks to collections activities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in review and evaluation of delinquent and medium-risk accounts for collections opportunities.
• Advises customers on payment strategies and products that meet their objectives.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and builds trust through expertise and responsiveness.
• Executes loss mitigation processes for non-performing and high-risk accounts.
• Communicates clearly with customers, documents actions, and escalates as needed.
• Analyzes data to provide insights and recommendations to improve collections outcomes.
