Smart Start Inc. seeks a bilingual Collections Representative in Coppell, TX. You will manage daily collection calls, review delinquent accounts, and coordinate with Customer Service to reinstate services.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay plus commission and requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. The position supports the Collections department with accuracy, adherence to policies, and effective communication with customers.

Formación

• Three years’ experience in customer service or collections.
• Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred; however, a combination of relevant experience and formal education will be considered.
• Knowledge of modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment.
• Knowledge and understanding of automated systems and procedures for bill collection and follow-up.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with difficult customers.

Responsabilidades

• Daily collection calls using the lockout report and document notes.
• Review past due accounts and coordinate reinstalls with Customer Service.
• Assess lockout credits and determine appropriate actions.
• Review invoices and service notes to adjust charges.
• Coordinate field collection activities and liaise with service centers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Handle correspondence related to bankruptcies and estates.
• Follow up on refunds and reconcile accounts.
