Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Billing Customer Service Representative in Chicago to assist patients with billing inquiries and help them access care. You will translate medical terminology into clear guidance, resolve escalated issues, and document interactions in the billing system.

Full-time hours, training first, with a 9-hour shift window between 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM ET. Role requires 1+ year of call center experience and knowledge of healthcare billing processes.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish to assist diverse patients.
• Experience handling a high volume of inbound calls in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing and eligibility processes.
• Ability to translate medical terminology into simple steps for customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls from patients or their representatives.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues and complaints.
• Navigate Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain a log of all patient contacts and ensure HIPAA compliance.
