Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Analyst to join the Employee Benefits Underwriting team. You will support marketing and renewal efforts, produce data-driven exhibits, and collaborate with analysts, underwriters, and consultants in a remote, time-zone-aware environment.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, plus strong MS Office and Windows skills. This role offers growth, visibility, and a path to impact client outcomes across benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support employee benefits marketing and renewal strategies for fully insured and self-funded clients.
• Coordinate carrier marketing efforts and manage RFPs.
• Create renewal and marketing exhibits with rate analyses, benefit comparisons, financial models, and funding projections.
• Analyze claims, utilization, and renewal data to identify trends and support client recommendations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with carrier underwriting and marketing representatives to enhance negotiations and market evaluations.
• Contribute to client deliverables by providing timely, accurate, and actionable insights that support benefits strategy.
• Assist with experience reporting, benchmarking, and analysis used to develop marketing and renewal recommendations.
• Prepare preliminary renewal calculations, spreadsheets, and supporting exhibits for client presentations.
• Review monthly loss ratio and utilization reports to ensure data accuracy and support strategic recommendations.
