Jobgether SRL is seeking a Counsel for the Employee Benefits Division in the United States. This remote role provides strategic guidance across a portfolio of employee benefits and insurance products, including Paid Family & Medical Leave, disability, life, and group insurance, translating complex regulations into actionable guidance.

You will collaborate with Product, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Distribution, Marketing, and other legal teams to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Approximately five years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and interpret state and federal laws affecting employee benefits.
• Provide practical legal guidance to product, operations, claims, and distribution teams.
• Support development, launch, and ongoing compliance of benefits products.
• Review forms, marketing materials, and processes for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regulatory research and assist with filings and examinations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks and solutions.
• Represent Compliance on cross-functional projects and training initiatives.
• Develop training and guidance on regulatory requirements and emerging issues.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate impact assessments.
