Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits, health insurance, benefits consulting, or related field.
• Client-facing account management experience within benefits/insurance industry.
• Experience conducting/open enrollment meetings and employee benefit presentations.
• Experience onboarding and implementing new benefits clients.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, ancillaries).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Remotely manage ongoing relationships with assigned clients as the primary point of contact.
• Lead open enrollment meetings, presentations, employee communications, and enrollment materials.
• Explain benefit plans, changes, and enrollment processes to employees and leadership.
• Manage new client onboarding and implementation, including timelines, documentation, and carrier requirements.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, payroll providers, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Assist with plan changes, renewals, eligibility, and employee enrollment matters.
• Prepare client-facing benefit summaries, renewal information, and enrollment materials.
• Monitor account activity, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Assist with annual renewals and communicate plan changes and recommendations.
• Address employee questions and troubleshoot benefits issues when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and strengthen relationships.
• Manage multiple accounts and competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Partner with internal teams to provide a seamless client experience.
