Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA, is hiring a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist for the Psychiatric Emergency Response team. The role is fully remote with evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm, focusing on patients with behavioral and mental health concerns in the ED and providing treatment recommendations.

Required: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and licensure as LPC or LCSW.

Qualificações

• Licensed professional counselor (LPC) or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) required.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• At least 1 year of outpatient or inpatient experience preferred.
• Crisis experience preferred; strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial needs for each patient.
• Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team, and community agencies to implement care plans.
• Evaluates effectiveness of plans and initiates changes as needed.
