Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Provider Enablement Consultant (PEC) to oversee clinical management and quality across value-based programs. You will engage with behavioral health providers, drive performance improvements, and act as the clinical liaison to senior leadership.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with a focus on improving outcomes, ensuring contract adherence, and delivering education and coordination across multiple internal teams.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted master’s level clinician in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Nursing (RN) licensed in resident state.
• 3+ years post-licensure direct behavioral health clinical experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a managed care setting.
• 1+ years of experience performing analysis, reporting, and data analytics within healthcare.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with provider leadership and clinical staff.
• Facilitate oversight meetings with providers to monitor performance.
• Monitor provider performance on program metrics and quality outcomes.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities from data analyses.
• Communicate interventions to providers to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Initiate and monitor Quality Improvement Plans.
• Conduct provider program audits and provide feedback and results.
• Support high performing providers to sustain excellence.
• Provide clinical and care coordination support.
• Deliver education and training to providers.
• Collaborate with Care Advocacy and Network Management teams.
