Job summary

Optum is hiring a Provider Enablement Consultant (PEC) to lead clinical management and quality oversight of value-based programs in behavioral health. You will build relationships with providers, drive performance improvement, and communicate progress to senior leadership.

The PEC will monitor compliance with contracts, analyze data, and work with multiple internal teams to enhance outcomes and efficiency across networks.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted master's-level clinician in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage/Family Counseling, or licensed Ph.D/Psy.D. psychologist, or Bachelor's level RN licensed in state of residence
• 3+ years post-licensure direct behavioral health clinical experience
• 1+ years in a managed care setting
• 1+ years in analysis, reporting, and data analytics in healthcare, Medicaid, or health & human services
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with provider leadership and clinical staff
• Facilitate oversight meetings with providers to monitor performance
• Monitor provider performance on program metrics and quality outcomes
• Identify performance improvements through data analysis of operations and utilization
• Communicate interventions to providers to improve outcomes and efficiency
• Initiate and monitor Quality Improvement Plans
• Conduct provider program audits and provide feedback
• Support high-performing providers to maintain excellence
• Provide clinical and care coordination support
• Deliver education and training
• Coordinate with Care Advocacy, Affordability, Clinical Network Services, and Quality Improvement teams
