Job summary

Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company, seeks a Provider Enablement Consultant to oversee clinical management and quality oversight of value-based Behavioral Health programs. You will build relationships with participating providers and facilities, drive a quality improvement process, monitor performance, and report progress to senior leaders.

The PEC must demonstrate strong clinical and analytic skills, excellent communication, and comfort working with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree-level clinician in psychology, social work, counseling, or family therapy is required.
• RN license (state of residence) with active practice is required; advanced licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with provider leadership and clinical staff.
• Monitor performance on program metrics and contractual obligations.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement using data analysis.
• Communicate with providers to drive interventions and improve outcomes.
• Coordinate with Care Advocacy, Affordability and Network teams to meet goals.
